At the last Board Meeting, President Ted Allen appointed Dick Grimshaw to organize the formation of a new Social Club within West Shore Village. Dick is a five year resident of Village 6 and has volunteered in several capacities in the past.
Within the new structure, Dick is seeking new ideas and suggestions for entertainment and social events that will involve the entire community. While most of the social functions take place during the winter months, any ideas to benefit our full time residents as well, is strongly encouraged.
The following volunteer positions are being available:
- “Summer” activities organizer (suggest a year round resident)
- Entertainment solicitors (selection of various event music)
- Sundries items and storage room supervision
- Tickets, sales and collection coordinator
- Spaghetti dinner function organization
- Christmas party organization
- St. Patrick’s Day function
- Valentines’ Day function
- Luau/Sock Hop function
- Decoration advisor
- Recreational activities coordinator
Once all details are finalized, a calendar will be posted.
