Milling is the process of removing the top layers of an existing asphalt surface using a large machine
with a rotating drum of cutters. This is a cost-effective maintenance technique used to prepare a surface
for resurfacing, address severe cracking or potholes, or adjust road height and grade.
Paving is the process of laying a hard, durable surface (asphalt) over the ground to create a firm and
level pathway for travel.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to enhance our community’s
infrastructure.
